Bed and Breakfast Casignano, Florence, Tuscany.
Our international background and love for the simple life of the countryside complements our desire to accommodate and live new experiences with people who are as equally diverse. We are fluent in English and Italian, conversational in French, and can also understand Spanish and various Polynesian languages. Our country home, named Podere Casignano, was established in the mid-18th century as a satellite to the impressive villa Torre a Cona of the Florentine Marquises Rinuccini family. The Rinuccini crest is frescoed on the front of the house and serves as our B&B logo. The building was completely restored and renovated in 2007 in strict accordance with governmental regulations by the very owner, an architect for the Italian Cultural Ministry. The renovation was conducted in order to ensure all the commodities of a comfortable, modern lifestyle while preserving the home’s historical and aesthetic integrity. Our property is completely fenced, and expands over several acres containing four grass fields, an olive grove, wooded area, numerous fruit trees and blooming bushes.
